Sweet Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts (with an Air Fryer Option)

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Alpine Fresh Brussels Sprouts, halved

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 2 Tablespoons Real Maple Syrup

  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper

 Directions for Oven Roasting:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to a large bowl and toss with olive oil, real maple syrup, salt and pepper.

  3. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet then roast for 20 minutes, or until edges are caramelized golden and crispy.

  4. Serve with your choice of protein and a starch like mashed potatoes.

Directions for Air Fryer:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.

  2. Place the halved Brussels sprouts in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, real maple syrup, salt and pepper.

  3. Add the Brussels sprouts to the air fryer and shake into a single layer.

  4. Air fry, for 7 minutes then shake the basket (or rotate the pans in larger air fryers) and roast for another 6 minutes, 15 minutes total.

  5. Serve with your choice of protein and a starch like mashed potatoes.
